There is a great deal of snow in places, enough to sink in 18 to 34 inches.  These two groups braved the grueling Rock you world hike. A short rain and some sun today.

Night program to exhaustion! - Updated

The students are doing great.  No shortage of enthusiasm and energy.  After a difficult day they still have time for singing and dancing.

Creative creatures

Tonight, cabins are competing to create the most creative creature.  Students putting there heads together to solve problems. Collaboration!

Students learn how to conquer challenges, to work together, and how to use each other’s strengths.  A great class and a break from the snow.











Rock Your World- Mr. Self

Students learn about weathering and erosion.  With the snow melt, there are many opportunities to view erosion.  A challenging but rewarding hike.  Students loved the waterfall.






Miwok village-Mrs. McCollum

Students with the Umacha structure that Mrs. McCollum helped build last spring!  Students are getting an amazing amount of exercise.  Walking in the snow can be tiring.



Orienteering GRIT-Mr. Helms

Using a compass to find your destination.  Difficult in nice weather, a test of determination in 2 feet of snow with rain!  These kids did not give up.0
